The clients envisioned an Arts and Crafts–inspired aesthetic for their new home, emphasizing craftsmanship, warmth, and a strong connection to nature. Ample natural light and unobstructed views of the surrounding wooded landscape were central to their priorities, guiding both the spatial layout and window placement. In addition, they requested an abundance of traditional detailing throughout the main living areas to reinforce the authenticity of the architectural style. The design approach balanced these goals by integrating natural materials, meticulous millwork, and thoughtfully composed sightlines, resulting in a home that is both deeply rooted in tradition and harmonious with its environment.
